How To See Liked Posts On Instagram 2023 By Other People

Unfortunately, you can’t see likes from other people. Before the update in 2019, you could check someone’s likes through the Following tab, but that feature has been removed today. This improves the privacy of each user and keeps individuals from feeling judged based on what they like, whether out of genuine interest or a desire to save a post for later.

A workaround is checking a profile that someone follows, viewing their posts, and seeing if the person has liked any of those posts. This can quickly become tedious and ineffective, though, so the likes history of other users is considered relatively private.

Why can’t I see the posts I’ve liked on Instagram?

If you can’t see the posts you’ve liked, you may not have the latest update. Make sure to check your App Store or Play Store for updates, and if this doesn’t fix it, uninstall and reinstall the app.

Can my followers see what I liked on Instagram?

There is no way to view all of the posts that someone has liked. However, if you like a post, anyone can look at that post’s likes and find your username. Your followers will also be shown ‘[your username] and others have liked this post’ under a post.

How do you hide who sees what you liked on Instagram?

As mentioned above, anyone can see that you’ve liked a post, especially your followers. You can turn off this feature in Settings > Privacy > Posts > Hide Like and View Counts.
