Prolific Instagram Creators Gain Access to Enhanced Comment Filters

The start of June 2025 has been met with several major updates and announcements from Meta, one of which is the rollout of enhanced comment filters for creators with over 100,000 followers on Instagram.

By being able to filter comments by ‘Newest First’, ‘Follower Count’ or simply ‘Top Comments’, creators will now have more control than ever over the visibility of their engagement. The addition of the ‘Follower Count’ is particularly beneficial to those who want to maximise their opportunity to interact with other high profile creators, while Instagram is also making it possible to only view comments from verified users, subscribers, or people you follow back.

What Does This Mean for Creator Engagement?

Not only will creators be able to focus on interacting with their top fans and with prolific followers, but it also creates opportunities to really prioritise the feeling of engagement for subscribers and followers.
