In much the same way as any other social app which supports quick and easy story posts, the TikTok story function is one that’s built to share snippets of your day with followers. It allows videos of up to 15 seconds long, which are shared for24 hours before disappearing.
But sometimes you might share a story on TikTok only to find that you posted it at the wrong time or should have made a few edits before sharing.

3 Steps to Delete a Story
- To delete a TikTok story, you first need to open it into full screen mode. You can do this via your profile feed or by clicking on your profile picture
- Once in full screen mode, click on the three dots icon down the right hand side of the screen
- Select ‘Delete’ and confirm your decision to delete the story
This will remove your story – leaving you with a blank canvas and a spot to fill with your next story upload!
