How to Download Audio From Instagram

Sometimes, you will come across a reel on Instagram that entertains you visually – other times, it will be the audio that really makes the content come to life.

In the latter instances, you might decide that you want to use the audio for your own reel – jumping onto a trend which is relevant to you and that you feel will enhance your next post perfectly.

What you need to do in this case is download the audio to use yourself. Here’s how to do it…

4 Steps to Download The Audio From a Reel

1. Find the reel that you want to download or access the audio for
2. Open it so that it is playing in full screen mode
3. Underneath the username, click on the audio reference or name
4. This will open an audio screen which tells you who created the audio and how many reels it is attached to. You can either ‘Use Audio’ using the big blue button or Save the audio to use in the future.

When you use the audio, the same exact part of the audio clip from the reel that you’ve engaged with will be selected – though you can easily select and use a different part of the audio if you prefer.

What this does is allow you to take a reel that you’ve seen and enjoyed and create your own version of it using the same audio. This is just one of the ways that users can promote and earn more views for their own reels, by using audio clips which are popular among other users and creators.
