How to Remove Synced Friends and Contacts
Want to enhance your privacy and remove the connection between TikTok and your contacts?
This is easy to do via your app settings, navigating first to your profile and then selecting the ‘Privacy’ settings via the menu button.
Once in the ‘Privacy’ menu, tap ‘Sync Contacts and Facebook Friends’ and make sure the toggle is switched off.
Any friends who you already follow will remain in your TikTok community. However, any friends or contacts who you don’t follow will be removed from your TikTok app.
