When you favourite a video on TikTok, you essentially send it to a special folder attached to your own profile, that only you can view.
This favourites album (or grid) is where you will find all the posts that you’ve saved to watch again or gain inspiration from at a later date – with TikTok users able to sort these saved videos into different collections.

How to Save Videos
When you want to save a video, there are two main things you can do.
To keep saved videos in TikTok, the best and easiest thing to do is to ‘Favourite’ them. You can do this by tapping on the down-facing flag icon on the right hand side of the video, underneath the comment and like buttons.
Alternatively, you can save the video to your device – an action which will immediately convert the TikTok into a video file saved directly to your device camera roll. This is ideal for those videos that you want to share with friends and family members outside of TikTok.
Finding Your Saved Videos and Favourites
Finding videos that you’ve saved to your device means accessing your device camera roll.
If you want to find videos that you have saved as favourites on TikTok, then follow these 3 steps…
- Head to your profile page on TikTok
- Underneath your bio, you will see a series of grid header buttons. Tap on the one which has the same down facing flag icon as the ‘Favourite’ button that you used to save the video
- This takes you to a Favourites grid, that will contain loose videos, collections, and all the other sounds, effects, and features that you have saved within the app
