How to Hide Comments on Instagram

If an unwanted comment creeps into the comment stream underneath your latest post – don’t worry!

There is a way to hide it.

Best of all, you can hide any comment from another user with incredible ease, and without the user knowing (unless they check the post themselves from another profile, that is!)

Here’s how to hide comments on Instagram in 3 short steps.

3 Steps To Hide an Unwanted Instagram Comment

1. Navigate to the post that contains the offending comment
2. Underneath the post, click on ‘View All Comments’. If the post only has one comment and there is no option to ‘View All’, then click on the comment icon. This will take you to a comment pop up screen

3. Find the comment that you want to hide, and click on ‘Hide’

Once you’ve done this, a pop up will appear letting you know that the comment has been hidden.

Crucially, this does not delete the comment but simply move it to a hidden comments section. The pop up also lets you know that the user who posted the comment will not see that the comment has been hidden, and that you can access any hidden comments at the bottom of the comment list.

And voila! A quick and easy way to tidy up your post’s comment stream and make sure you see good vibes only!
