What Is the TikTok Creator Fund?
The Creator Fund is a pot of money which is designed to support TikTok creators, by financially rewarding them for high viewing numbers and engagement.
Considered a kind of incentive to encourage the creation of great content, eligible creators can apply to receive funding on high engagement and well received content. In short, the platform pays these creators a monthly income based on stats like their engagement rate, the authenticity of their TikTok video views, and the number of views they receive in a month.
The minimum amount that an eligible creator can receive from the fund is $10 per month – and there is no upper limit!
So, how do you get involved and start earning?
How Do You Apply to Join the Fund?
In order to join the Creator Fund and start earning money for your content, you need to meet a few eligibility criteria.
- You need to be at least 18 years old. This applies to all the monetisation features on TikTok.
- Your account needs to have at least 10,000 followers
- You need to have at least 100,000 views on your videos from the 30 days before applying to join the fund
On top of this, you also need to fit with TikTok’s community guidelines, and not have any noted violations on your account.

- Open TikTok and head to your profile page
- Tap the menu button in the top right hand corner, and select ‘Creator Tools’ from the pop up menu
- Under the ‘Monetisation’ heading, select ‘Creator Rewards Program’
