How to Pin a Reel to Your Reels Grid
If you post reels on a regular basis and want to make sure that some of them remain at the top of your reels grid, then you will want to pin them. This makes them easily accessible via your reels grid and means that any new follower or visitor to your profile will automatically see those reels first.
To do this, follow these steps…
- Find the reel that you want to pin in your main grid feed
- Click on the three dots in the top right hand corner of the reel
- Select ‘Pin to Your Reels’
Now, whenever you open your reels grid on your profile page, you will see this reel at the top of the grid with a small pin icon in the top corner.
You can follow these same steps to reverse the pin and remove it from your reels grid.
How to Pin a Reel to Your Main Grid
If you want a reel to remain as one of the first posts on your main profile grid, ready for quick access and for new visitors to open and view when they land on your profile, then you need to pin that reel to your main grid.
- Find the reel that you want to pin in your main grid feed
- Click on the three dots in the top right hand corner
- This time, select ‘Pin to Your Profile’
This puts the reel in the most prominent position on your profile, accessible to anyone who lands on your profile and wants to find out more about your business, profile, or brand.
