How to See Your TikTok Password

If you’re so used to logging into TikTok via your device settings, be it with touch ID or facial recognition, then you may have forgotten what your password for the app actually is.

Which is where this blog comes in.

The best way to recover and see your TikTok password is by having that password saved to a Google Account or to your device Password Manager settings – enabling you to head into the settings and unlock your various passwords.

If you’ve forgotten your password and are trying to log in on a different device, you will need to reset the password using the verified email address or phone number that’s linked to your TikTok account.

How to Recover a Forgotten Password

If you’re unable to access your password via your device settings and need to log into your account on a different device, select ‘Forgot Password’ and your email address or phone number to receive a verification code.

How to Change Your Password

NOTE: You can only change your TikTok password through the mobile app.

If you’re logged into TikTok on a device that you have access to, you can change your password on that device. To do so, open the app and navigate to your profile, then open the menu using the three horizontal lines icon in the top right hand corner.

Select ‘Settings and Privacy’ then ‘Manage Account’ and finally ‘Password’.

Complete the verification information, then update your password to one that you will easily remember and can transfer across to other devices.

If in doubt, reach out to TikTok support for advice and guidance in how to recover your account and gain access to your profile.

We hope this helps! Losing access to your TikTok account can feel incredibly stressful when it first happens, but with a handful of options available you should be able to unlock access to your profile and your content relatively quickly! Happy scrolling.
