One of the great things about the Meta-verse is the connectivity between Instagram and Facebook. Not only do the two support each other with regards to suggested content and other users that you might want to follow or interact with, but it also makes sharing content between the two incredibly easy.

Here’s how to share an Instagram post to Facebook, both immediately and after sharing on Instagram.

How to Share a Post To Facebook Immediately

If you’ve created a post and are getting ready to share it on Instagram, you can switch on a toggle in the caption editing screen which will automatically share your post to Facebook as well.

Once you’ve edited the image or video and created your caption, look for the option below which reads ‘Share to Facebook’. By switching the toggle on, your post will upload to the Facebook account which is named underneath the toggle.

How to Share a Post To Facebook In Hindsight After Posting

If you forget to share your content or update to Facebook at the time of posting, you can easily do so in hindsight.

Find the post that you want to share and click on the ‘Share’ button at the bottom of the post which is indicated with a paper airplane icon. Select ‘Share to…’ and choose Facebook or click on the Facebook icon to create a brand new Facebook post which links to your Instagram upload.

With the two apps so intrinsically linked, it couldn’t be easier to share between Facebook and Instagram – widening the reach of your posts and ensuring that you maximise visibility of your profile and updates. We hope this quick guide helps!
