- Open TikTok and navigate to your profile page on your personal account
- Tap on the menu button in the top right hand corner of the page, indicated by the three horizontal lines, and select ‘Settings and Privacy’
- Select ‘Security’ then ‘Manage App Permissions’
- Choose ‘TikTok For Business’
- Select ‘Remove Access’
NOTE: This will only be available as an option if you have a TikTok for Business account linked with your personal profile.
You can also unlink a user from your TikTok for Business account, if you are on the other side of the agreement and want to remove the access of a personal user to your Business profile.
5 Steps to Unlink a Personal Account From Your Business TikTok
- Log into the business account and click through to your TikTok for Business settings page
- Select ‘Personal Information’
- Choose ‘TikTok Account’ and then ‘Unlink TikTok Account’
- Verify your identity by sending a verification code to one of the contact details listed alongside the business profile (this stage in particular is why it’s so important to keep business social profiles separate from personal users, always entering a neutral email address that multiple users have access to when creating the social account)
- Unlink any unwanted accounts from your TikTok for Business page
