Not to be confused with the infamous ‘404 Page Not Found’ error message that most of us will have come across at some point in our online experiences, 304 is a slang term which is growing in popularity on TikTok.
But what does it mean?
Unfortunately, it’s not a particularly nice term or example of slang – and it’s actually older than you might think.
304 is used on TikTok as a secret reference to a “hoe” or promiscuous woman.
This is because, when you type 304 on an old school calculator and then turn the screen upside down, it reads ‘hoe’. Thereby creating a direct link between the number sequence and the derogatory term.
How Is 304 Used on TikTok?
Typically, you will see 304 being used as a reference to a female when the speakers don’t want their meaning to be obvious.
It is most often used by alpha male types who openly discuss their thoughts and opinions on women and how women behave. If a woman acts a certain way, she is deemed a 304 by these online TikTok creators and alpha males.
