The incredible popularity of social platforms like TikTok means that phrases which were reserved for use on the platform are now being filtered into everyday language.
And while some of these phrases, terms, and acronyms make perfect sense and can be easily translated for an offline crowd, others are a bit more difficult to decipher.
‘GYATT’ is one term which certainly falls into the latter category – and has had us scouring the internet for a decent translation!
On TikTok, GYATT is used largely as an inside joke between males. It is a sort of shorthand version of ‘Goddamn’ and is used when guys see an attractive girl.
