How to Cast Facebook to Tv

Imagine for a moment that you’ve come across a video that you want to share with a loved one or have discovered a dance challenge that you want to learn and perfect with your friends.

Being able to cast your Facebook screen onto a nearby TV is the best way to maximise visibility and make the video or content as large and clear as possible.

Here’s how to do it…

3 Steps to Cast a Video to Your Tv

1. Open the Facebook video to full screen mode
2. Tap on the video so that all the icons and actions appear
3. Click on the icon in the top right hand corner, that depicts a TV square box with curved lines in one corner

You will then have an option to choose the local TV that you want to cast to, connecting your device with that TV and showing the video on the bigger screen.

You will need to either cast to a smart TV via Bluetooth or to a connected TV device that uses the same network as your portable device. For example, Apple users with an Apple TV can stream between devices with ease. Bluetooth is typically sufficient to connect with any smart TV that doesn’t directly link to your phone or tablet.

And there you have it! Once on a larger screen, you will be able to control, pause, and start the video using either your TV remote or your personal device.
