There are some occasions where users might want to reinvent their Facebook profile and online persona, but without having to delete their account and build a new one from scratch.

If something happens in your personal or professional life that causes you to want to remove all your existing posts and start again, while retaining your profile and friends, then this is the article for you.

5 Steps to Delete Your Facebook Posts in Bulk

  1. Click on the menu button in the bottom right hand corner of your Facebook app screen
  2. Click on your name to navigate to your profile, then select the button with the three dots underneath your cover photo
  3. Select ‘Activity Log’ from the menu
  4. Click on ‘Manage Your Posts’
  5. Click on the check box of any posts that you want to delete. Once you’re happy with your selection, select ‘Delete’ to get rid of them

NOTE: You can filter posts via the filter options at the top of the list, to ensure that you capture any specific posts posted on set dates or around certain topics.

Should You Delete All Your Posts?

It is important to understand that once you delete Facebook posts, the action is permanent. If you aren’t 100% sure that you want to lose your posts – and their engagement stats – forever, then it might be a better idea to hide the posts.

Hiding posts sends them to your Facebook Archive, where they can be restored to your profile at any time as required.

We hope this helps!
