- Head to the profile of the user whose account you wish to unfollow. You can do this by searching for them directly, finding them on your own ‘Following’ list, or clicking through to their profile from a recent post or story update.
- Underneath their bio, click on the grey button that reads ‘Following’
- At the bottom of the pop up list, select ‘Unfollow’ and confirm your action
And there you have it! While the user will not be made away of your decision to remove them from your follower list, they will be informed if you decide to follow them again at a later date – so make sure that this is an action that you want to take before confirming.
