The user experience on the TikTok app is different from that on a PC. There are some features that are only available to mobile device and app users, with the majority of users preferring the seamless mobile experience from that on a PC or desktop.
Having said that, there are some benefits to browsing TikTok on a PC. Sometimes the larger screen makes it easier to learn a dance routine or partake in a challenge and can be a good way to gain detailed inspiration from creator videos and posts.
Our advice is to favourite videos using your mobile app, and then opt to view them through TikTok PC for a larger screen. Here’s how to do it.
5 Steps to View Favourited Videos on a PC
The first and most important thing to note is that unfortunately, TikTok does not support the viewing of favourited videos through the TikTok browser on a PC.
Because of this, users need to access their TikTok profile and favourite videos via a third party site. One of the most popular is called BlueStacks.
- Install BlueStacks on your PC and then install the TikTok app on the same device
- Open TikTok via BlueStacks
- Navigate to your profile page
- Above your profile grid, select the favourites tab (indicated by the flag shaped icon)
- Browse your favourited videos to your heart’s content!
Alternatively, you may find that you can screen cast TikTok videos from your mobile device onto a larger screen with compatible technology and software. Or, if you want to view TikTok videos on a larger screen and have more control over the browsing experience, why not download and save the video from your mobile device and send it to your PC.
All of these options are designed to give TikTok users more power over how and where they can watch TikTok videos back. Despite the app itself not supporting PC viewing of favourites, we’re here to help make those videos more accessible for all users!
