Yet more releases on Instagram’s Editing app look set to make the editing process easier and more seamless for creators, with a built-in teleprompter for natural video content, and several new transition options.
To look first at the rollout of new transition options, creators will be able to move from one clip to another in more creative ways – increasing the total number of options to 35. A more sensitive cutting feature has been introduced to allow for precise clip editing, and a volume overview setting now makes it possible to balance and standardise the volume across several different clips.
Instagram’s Latest Gift for Creators
While new transitions and cutting tools make editing easier, the rollout of a new teleprompter is being called a “gift to content creators” across social media. The teleprompter will make it possible to create a rolling text display, facilitating natural engagement and scripted direct-to-camera discussion. It will also support pacing for creators, helping them to generate content that inspires more followers and helps to boost their comments.
