Content Scheduling Now Available to All Instagram Users

Good news for time-poor users and Instagram creators – you no longer have to have a professional account to access scheduling tools.

The rollout of scheduling and other creator tools to public accounts means that regular users will be able to learn more about how their content is performing, will be able to schedule content in advance, and will even be able to unlock trending audio clips.

Who Will This Change Help?

If you’re a regular Instagram user trying to establish a profile and build a sustainable following, then being able to schedule content and access trending audio are two major leaps for the quality of your profile.

Posting regularly means that new and existing pools of followers remain engaged with your content, with scheduling enabling users to add content when they have time rather than feeling pressured into spending copious amounts of time on the platform. Meanwhile, accessing trending audio will improve the visibility of posts and help more users unlock the shortcuts to going viral.

The hope, from Instagram at least, is that giving more users access to these tools will encourage more to explore the further enhanced benefits of professional creator mode. This in turn will drive more users to open professional accounts and funnel more time and investment into building a successful Instagram profile.

What do you think of this new update – is it a feature you will be using?
