Could Posting More Improve TikTok Engagement?

It’s an age-old debate in the world of social media. Does posting more or less really have an impact on the algorithm, or is the quality of the content more important?

A new update from TikTok seems to suggest that frequency could play a role in the visibility and reach of your TikTok marketing – with the most active profiles earning more views as well as the approval of the platforms’ algorithm.

What is the Optimal Posting Schedule for TikTok?

In short, it seems as if TikTok values consistency. For those who want to increase their reach, views, and ultimately their following, regular posting is integral to catching the attention of the algorithm – and accounts that catch the right attention are richly rewarded.

The data shared by the TikTok report finds that posting between two and five times per week leads to an increase of 17% views per post – a significant uplift for both personal and business accounts!

And for those who purchase packages of views to boost their TikTok reach, upping their posting frequency can tick two major check boxes: engaging those whose attention you’ve purchased, and inspiring new organic follows as well.

In short, it seems as though posting more leads to better performance – which can only be a good thing, whether you use TikTok as a marketing platform or to build your personal brand.
