Look out for Paid Ads!

Some users will have noticed that their Meta feeds were halted by a pop up in recent days – asking if they’d like to scroll free of charge and be subjected to more ads or pay for a subscription with fewer ads. 

We don’t know anyone who opted for the latter yet. However, could this be the start of Meta trying to commercialise Facebook and Instagram, beyond the existence of marketplace, paid follower packages, and paid ads?
