TikTok has jumped on the Broadcast wagon, by launching a new feature that enables creators to share messages and updates with large groups of users in one swift move.

Inspired by the Broadcast channels feature on Instagram, that shares exclusive creator content with followers who choose to engage and join the channel, the TikTok Bulletin will create a similar space for updates, announcements, and exclusive posts.

How Do Bulletin Boards Differ from Regular Content?

The idea of the TikTok Bulletin Board is to create a stream of content for the most engaged users and followers of each creator. Far from creator content getting lost in the regular TikTok feed, this is a board dedicated to a single creator and their own updates – helping to draw in new followers and entice views.

Followers / users can choose to follow or join a board via the creator’s profile, receiving direct updates from the board when they are posted.

Who is Eligible to Create a Bulletin Board?

TikTok creators must have at least 50,000 followers to start a Bulletin Board, making it a limited feature for those creators who have a steady and reliable audience.

Is this a feature you will choose to use, either as a creator or as a user?
