As TikTok looks to pick up traction across the United States under its new ownership deal, the app has made a series of announcements.
One of those is around a brand new event called ‘Live Fest’, which will showcase the app’s very best talent in a venue specially selected for its star quality (and yes, it’ll almost certainly be streamed live too!)
What is the Point of TikTok Live Fest?
Live Fest is an opportunity for TikTok LIVE creators to enjoy a specially designed platform, that recognises the biggest and most popular creators from across the app. Those who have built a strong following, earned high view counts, and engineered high engagement will be put forward as potential performers, with the event being hosted in just a couple of weeks at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas.
Some of the categories being recognised include rising track, fan growth, gaming, dance, crossover, and music – with all corners of TikTok being celebrated.
