If, when you head to the Marketplace feature on the platform, you find a product that you are interested in, clicking on it will take you to the dedicated product page.
The default view on this page contains a carousel of photos of the product, a product name and advertised price, and an option to message the seller. You will also see options to share the listing, save it, make an offer, or set an alert that will tell you if the price is reduced or the item is sold.
Underneath all of this, you will find a description, with the first couple of lines of this description visible from the outset.
To access the hidden information, you need to click ‘See More’. This will open the full description.
Armed with the full description, you can then make a more informed decision about whether the product is right for you.
How to Uncover Even More Information About the Listing
Of course, even with the full description open on your screen, you might find that there is more you want to know.
This is where the option to ‘Message Seller’ becomes useful – allowing you to ask more questions and contact the seller directly to find out more information.
Clicking on the seller’s profile name will also take you to a dedicated Commerce profile page, which is not the same as their personal account profile but instead gives you a limited view of information such as their location, as well as any other or previous listings on Marketplace.
