Airplay is a tool that’s reserved for Apple devices, and works across iPhones, iPads, and Mac computers. On other devices, the same process is known as ‘casting’ the screen.
In order to Airplay from your mobile device onto a larger screen, you will need to have an Apple TV or an Apple TV plugin. If you don’t have this, then you can still transfer your TikTok onto a larger screen, but you will be doing so using the casting process.
4 Steps to Airplay TikTok Onto a Tv Screen
- Make sure that both your mobile device and the TV are connected to the same WiFi
- Open the TikTok app on your mobile device and find the video that you want to transfer via Airplay
- Click on the sweeping arrow ‘Share’ button and scroll through the grey buttons until you find ‘Casting’
- Select the device that you want to cast to via Airplay – your Apple TV or TV box – and then watch as your mobile screen comes to life on the big screen!
Once you are successfully streaming your mobile device through Airplay, every video that you open will be played on your TV – until you choose to disconnect the devices and return to norma browsing.
