If you’ve ever scrolled through your Facebook feed and stumbled across a really interesting, entertaining, or inspiring post that you want to save and come back to later, then you will likely already be familiar with the ‘Save’ tool.

Accessed via the three dots menu at the top of a post or reel that you find on your Facebook feed, the ‘Save’ button sends the post to a collection within your Facebook account that only you can see.

Here’s how to find your collection of saved posts…

3 Steps to Find Saved Posts

  1. Click on the menu button in the bottom right hand corner of your screen
  2. In the content blocks which sit underneath your shortcuts, look for the one labelled ‘Saved’ with the vertical flag icon. Click on it
  3. Your most recent saved posts will appear in a short feed at the top of the screen. All other saved posts will appear either in the ‘For Later’ collection, or in dedicated albums (if you are someone who arranges and organises your saved posts)

What Are Collections and How Do You Use Them?

Collections offer a way of organising your saved posts, so that you can more easily find specific posts that are dedicated to specific topics or interests.

You can create new collections within the ‘Saved Posts’ feed, setting the audience and visibility so that the collection is private to you or visible to your friends as well.

TOP TIP: If you are building a community on Facebook, creating Collections which are open and visible to a broader audience can help to boost your engagement and make your account appear even more valuable to potential followers.

If you don’t use Collections, all videos that you save will be placed in the automatic ‘For Later’ folder – meaning that regardless of your backend organising, your saved posts will be accessible from the same place in your Facebook app.

Happy saving!
