The Featured Photos tool on Facebook enables users to share a couple of chosen photos as highlights on their profile – more readily available and visible than their other photos, so that they become the first images that friends see when they visit a profile.

But while featured photos are a great way to put your favourite photos front and centre on your profile, can you see who has viewed them?

Yes – but there’s a catch.

You can only see the individuals who have viewed your featured photos if they are a Facebook friend of yours. If they’re not a friend but have viewed the photos, they will simply be grouped under the heading ‘Other Viewers’.

To see who viewed a featured photo on your profile, all you need to do is click into that photo via your Highlights profile section, and then tap on the list of viewers in the bottom of the photo.

TOP TIP: If you don’t use the featured photos tool but want to see who views your content regularly, a good way of tracking views is by uploading Facebook story content. This content allows you to see who has viewed and engaged with the photo or video that you upload, making it an ideal tool for monitoring your visibility among friends and other users.
