How to Find My Groups on Facebook

When we talk about your groups on Facebook, there are several subsections of this category that we could be referring to.

The first is the groups that you are a part of and have joined, either because you are interested in the conversation and theme of the group, or because it’s connected to your work or local area.

The second is groups that you manage or are admin for.

And then, when you get to the groups menu, there’s also a space for the groups that you have pinned and that you want to keep at the forefront of your Facebook for easy access.

So, how do you find all of these different group lists?

3 Steps to Access Your Groups

1. Click on the menu button in the bottom right hand corner of your Facebook app screen
2. In the menu, click on the content block that’s labelled ‘Groups’. This will be underneath your profile button and your shortcuts, and above the Help and Support option
3. Clicking through to ‘Groups’ will take you directly to the ‘Your Groups’ tab where you can then open the list of Groups you manage, Groups you’ve joined, and Pinned groups

And voila! Most Facebook users are part of a lot more groups that they realise – with most users only regularly accessing a handful of groups as part of their everyday browsing.
