With your Facebook feed constantly updating and finding new reels and videos for you to watch and engage with, there is very little chance of the same video popping up twice.

While this keeps content fresh and ensures that users remain active on the platform, it can also be a source of frustration for those who see a video they like and want to find it again to show someone else.

Luckily, there is a way of finding videos that you’ve watched – regardless of whether you liked or commented on it at the time. And the process is remarkably quick and easy to follow.

5 Steps to Find Videos You Have Watched

  1. Click on the menu button in the bottom right hand corner of the screen
  2. Select ‘Settings and Privacy’ then ‘Settings’
  3. Scroll down until you get to the ‘Your Activity’ heading – click on ‘Activity Log’
  4. Scroll through the carousel of blue filter buttons until you find one labelled ‘Videos Watched’
  5. All the videos you have watched on Facebook will now be displayed in date order, starting with the most recent at the top of the screen

Unless you have set your audience visibility specifically to enable others to track your activity on Facebook, all the videos that you have watched will be visible only to you. You can clear your video watch history with ease using a blue button at the top of the list, or you can browse other actions and activity you have taken on Facebook via the other filters.

A great way to keep on top of content that you’ve enjoyed in the past and see which days you have been most active on Facebook.
