If you’re someone with lots of Facebook friends, you might find yourself interested in looking at how your community has changed over time.
Luckily, Facebook not only allows users to browse through their Friends list, but also lets them view the list via a filter: sorting the list by putting the newest friends at the top or sorting them into reverse order.
Here’s how to filter your friends list so that you can see who you have most recently become friends with…
4 Steps to View Your Most Recent Friends
- Click on the ‘Friends’ button along the bottom of your Facebook screen
- The default list that appears will show Friend Requests, as per Facebook’s dedication to growing and expanding your community. Ignore this and click instead on ‘Your Friends’ at the top of the page to open a list of your existing friends
- Select ‘Sort’ in the top right hand corner of the friends list
- Click on ‘Newest Friends First’
Your friends list will now be sorted, putting your newest friends at the top of the list and filtering them down to your oldest friends at the bottom.
What Actions Can You Make in the Friends List
When browsing your friends list, you can directly message friends, visit their profile, and even block or unfriend them.
Simply click on the three dots to the right hand side of each name to see the available actions.
We hope this helps! Knowing who your most recent friends are on Facebook is a great way to track your activity and see how your community has grown and adapted over time. Happy browsing!
